The roof carries the whole house, and it takes the coast's punishment first. The organic growth darkening these tiles holds moisture against the surface, working into the seams of the home's largest and most expensive plane. Cleared and treated, it sheds water the way it was built to.
From the lawn, you would swear this balustrade was always this soft, shadowed grey. It wasn't. Northeast Florida is a uniquely demanding place to keep a home, and this one sits near natural lands: wild, beautiful, and generous with their insects. They had settled into the entry arch, as they will on even the finest homes here, while years of buildup muted a pearled, warm stone almost no one had seen in a decade. Layer by layer, carefully and safely, it was all undone, the insects blissfully gone, until the original returned.
Up close, the toll is clear: many years of growth and grime settled deep into the stone. This is not a rinse. It is a patient, layered restoration that lifts years or even decades of buildup without harming the surface beneath, so the detail survives intact.

The Seasons
Each season works on your home in its own way. Membership is timed to answer it, so no month of the year goes unwatched.
Pollen comes first, coating windows, trim, and furniture in a yellow film you can write your name in. Many of our trees let go in spring too, filling gutters and staining walkways. Warm rain returns, and mold takes hold in shaded corners. Spring is for clearing all of it, stopping the growth before it spreads, and readying every surface for the months ahead.
The sun is at its strongest and the air holds the most moisture, exactly what mildew and algae need: green film on shaded walls, dark streaks down the roof, pavers that turn slick, insects at every entryway. The air conditioner runs hardest now, pulling salt air across its coils. Summer is often for the home to look its best when it hosts the most.
Storm season leaves its mark: staining, salt deposits, and stress that build faster than you realize. Wind drops debris on roofs and in gutters, where wet leaves leave brown outlines and blocked gutters streak the walls beneath them. Fall is for undoing what the storms did, setting the small things right with a pin nail or a bit of glue, and fortifying every surface so the home enters winter in the strongest possible condition.
Winter winds carry salt off the ocean, and further inland than most people expect. Left on glass, it etches and dulls the view you paid for. Left on metal, it eats at hinges, rails, and light fixtures until they have to be replaced. Left on stucco, it pulls at what took years to build. Shorter days keep shaded walls damp, so nothing fully dries. Winter is for rinsing the salt away before the damage sets, so spring asks for renewal, not restoration.

The Logic
