Northeast Florida

Oceanfront homes.Everything the salt touches, kept.

An oceanfront home lives in the hardest weather on the coast. Salt settles on everything every day, and what it does in a season would take a decade inland. Many of the homes we care for are on the ocean. Our members' glass never etches, their hardware never fails without warning, and the house always looks like the reason they bought it.

What oceanfront homes face

Glass

Salt hazes oceanside glass in weeks. Members keep it clear all year, and it never etches.

Metal

Bronze, stainless, aluminum and every hinge and fastener. On a membership they keep working and keep their finish.

Wood and decks

Ipe, cedar and dune walkovers gray fast. Members keep them warm and sound.

Second homes

Many oceanfront homes are visited part of the year. Owners who are away receive a photographed report after every visit.

A membership here

Oceanfront plans give the ocean side of the house the most attention, and some homes want more than four visits a year. Kalen sets that at the assessment.

A house can carry dozens of different materials on the outside, and every one of them is cared for as its own thing, roof to curb, so it looks right not just the day after a visit but in ten, twenty and thirty years. When we find something that should be repaired, we tell you while it is small, and we can take care of it for you. Repairs are priced separately from membership. How exterior home management works.

How membership works

The assessment

Kalen Yeager, our founder, walks the property with you, then assesses every surface on his own. It is complimentary.

The plan

Four Season Membership: four visits a year, one each season, built around how your house weathers. Some homes want more.

The record

Every visit is photographed and kept in one record of the house, so wear reads as a trend and repairs are caught while they are small.

Questions

How do you keep an oceanfront home from looking weathered?

By never letting it get behind. On a schedule, salt never gets the time it needs to etch, pit or corrode.

Do I need to be home?

No. You receive a photo report after every visit, wherever you are.
