Exterior home care on Amelia Island.Ocean on one side, marsh on the other.
Amelia Island homes live between the Atlantic and the marsh, with salt and humidity from both. Our Island House is here, an oceanfront home where we restored the ipe, the pavers and the brick on the first visit and have kept them since. A Freedom Exterior membership handles the outside of the home on a schedule.

What Amelia Island asks of a house
Ipe and tropical hardwoods
Ipe decks, gates and screens turn gray in a season. Restored and protected on a schedule, they stay warm instead of weathered.
Pavers and brick
Driveways, walks and brick walls collect salt, sand and mildew. On a membership they stay even and bright.
Salt from the ocean, moisture from the marsh
Glass and metal see salt; shaded walls and screens see humidity. Both are part of every visit.
Second homes
Many island homes are visited part of the year. Owners receive a photographed report after every visit.
A membership here
Island plans usually pair a comprehensive visit each spring and fall with refreshment visits focused on wood, glass and metal.
A house can carry dozens of different materials on the outside, and every one of them is cared for as its own thing, roof to curb, so it looks right not just the day after a visit but in ten, twenty and thirty years. When we find something that should be repaired, we tell you while it is small, and we can take care of it for you. Repairs are priced separately from membership. How exterior home management works.

The assessment
Kalen Yeager, our founder, walks the property with you, then assesses every surface on his own. It is complimentary.
The plan
Four Season Membership: four visits a year, one each season, built around how your house weathers. Some homes want more.
The record
Every visit is photographed and kept in one record of the house, so wear reads as a trend and repairs are caught while they are small.
Questions from Amelia Island homeowners
Can you restore a gray ipe deck?
Yes. The ipe pool deck at our Island House went from gray to warm on the first visit. Keeping it there is what the membership is for.
Do you serve Fernandina Beach and the south end of the island?
Yes. We serve all of Amelia Island and Nassau County.
