Roofs
Asphalt shingle.A roof that reaches its full life.
The black streaks running down Florida shingle roofs are alive, and they shorten the roof they live on. Our members' shingle roofs stay even in color and reach the full life they were rated for, instead of falling years short.

What you might be seeing
Black streaks
Algae, spreading down the shaded faces first.
Bare or shiny patches
The protective granules are going.
Moss at the edges
Moisture sitting where water should run off.
Ten, twenty, thirty years from now
A shingle roof that is kept from the start holds its granules, sheds heat and lasts its full rated life. That can be years of roof you would otherwise pay for twice.
That is the difference between a surface that looks good the day after and one that lasts. It is easier to keep a house right than to bring one back.
What you never think about again
Off your list
It is on the schedule, every season. You never call, compare or manage anyone, and you never need to be home.
Already ready
Guests this weekend, a holiday, a listing photo. The house is already right, so there is nothing to get ready.
How membership works
The assessment
Kalen Yeager, our founder, walks the property with you, then assesses every surface on his own. It is complimentary.
The plan
Four Season Membership: four visits a year, one each season, built around how your house weathers. Some homes want more.
The record
Every visit is photographed and kept in one record of the house, so wear reads as a trend and repairs are caught while they are small.
Questions
Are black streaks on my roof a problem?
Yes. They are algae, and over time they break down the shingle surface. They are also the first thing people notice from the street.
Will the streaks come back?
Not on a membership. The roof is on the schedule, so it never gets back to where it was.
